I wanted my things.

[It's not obvious who's speaking for a moment before the NV is settled down upon a rock. It's dawn, early after Sirens have been sounded. The tail is what would be noticed first, scaly and gold, shimmering in the light of the rising sun. The next thing to notice would be who that tail belongs to - Syrena, a beautiful mermaid. [The feed comes on to display Syrena with a look of discontent. Not only does she look extremely unhappy, but she seems to look, well, ill. Her hair seems to be coated in crude oil as she sits, curled up in what seems to be a secluded cove of shoreline. [When the feed comes on it seems Syrena is at the docks, for they can be seen in the background. As it's early in the morning, just after sirens have sounded, the place is deserted. A few fishing boats can be seen in the distance, tied up at shore. As for the mermaid herself, she's settled herself on a bunch of rock not too far out from shore. Her ( Read more... )

[When the video turns on, there seems to be water droplets on the lens' surface, distorting the image. Beyond the distortion, there's a flurry of activity -- a squirming figure on the ground of the baseball diamond.
